I normally think your analysis on cultural issues is spot on, however I think on this one you missed the mark entirely. It has nothing to do with conservatives not producing their own art to counterbalance the other side. There are production companies doing such things now that are having some success, mostly led by Mel Gibson and Jim Caviezel. What you are missing is that conservatives are tired of being bombarded with an endless display of culture that hates them in arenas that should be at worst neutral and are often mostly funded by and populated by people that are either conservative or in the middle politically. Do you really think limp-wristed, blue-haired Antifa foot soldiers are the ones supporting NFL teams? It’s art and entertainment and people have the right to complain it sucks, tune it out and disconnect from it. It’s showing in the ratings for the pointless awards shows and in athletics. The only reason the NFL is afloat is because Goodell has decided that international fans are more valuable than Americans and that he is growing the game. Euros don’t give a rats ass about American football it’s just a way for him to generate international advertising revenue which will create a bubble and burst after he is long gone and worth a billion dollars. I appreciate the call to arms but it will land flat. Still looking forward to the Thomas Sowell play.

Look at Sound of Freedom as an example. Based on a true story about rescuing children from the sex trafficking. Who's against it? Hollywood, MSM, most liberals...

Shelved by Disney, the biggest pedo playground on the planet, because they figured they could buy it and make it disappear.

Bought back by the producer.

Rejected by studio after studio.

Crowdfunded 5 million dollars to market and release the film.

Grossed over $250 million worldwide.

Rotten Tomatoes Critics gave it 58% to make sure it looked like a dud at first glance because they're into the whole child-sex thing.

Rotten Tomatoes general audience (not professional critics) gave it 99%.

I saw the film and I would give it somewhere in the 85-90% range.
