Where Have You Been?

Checking in with the community.

If you’ve followed me for some time, you’ll notice I’ve been quiet lately.

I’ve left Facebook. I privated my Instagram. I’ve nuked most of my YouTube videos. I’ve tweeted almost nothing in weeks (and lost 5,000 followers!).

I have been somewhat more active on Substack. I find I vastly prefer the vibe here to that on Twitter. But I’ve not posted any longform work in ages. It’s not for lack of trying—I’m working on a new piece about why the entertainment industry is incapable of changing course. It’s taking much longer than I’d like. And it’s gonna be long.

But I felt compelled to write to you.
